What SWIMTA does

The results officer uploads the timing-system file, and the schedule, start lists and results become available to users on their own devices.

A coach with twenty swimmers or a parent with two children can pin their own swimmers and see only what matters to them.

Verified withdrawal notices
A coach notifies a withdrawal from their own device using the club code, with a reason and a reminder of the rule-based time limit. It only becomes valid once signed on the form, which the system prepares filled in, ready to print.

Schedules, start lists and results PDFs. Whoever arrives in the event's last hour sees the complete history — no "can't find that now".
Offline mode
The last downloaded data works even without signal — at the pool, in the hall and in basement changing rooms.
Schedule shift
Is the meet running late? One click in the admin panel — a notification goes out to everyone and the schedule times are recalculated.

How it works

For organisers
Name, date, event code (e.g. PRAHA26). Add the schedule, contacts and links.
A start list or results in Lenex format — SWIMTA recognises the content itself and distributes it to participants' devices.
On the schedule, on the website, as a QR code at the entrance. At check-in, give team leaders the club codes for withdrawals — admin prints the slips for you.

FAQ
Do participants need to install anything or register?
No. They open the link, enter the event code and have everything. No email, no phone number, no password. Anyone who wants to can add SWIMTA to their home screen as an app — that also enables push notifications.
Which timing systems does SWIMTA work with?
With anything that exports the standard Lenex format — in the Czech Republic, typically Swim Meet Manager. Upload an .lxf or .lef file and the system automatically recognises whether it's a start list or results. Verified on Czech Championship data (800 swimmers, 4,700 starts).
Is a withdrawal from the app valid without a signature?
No — and even at world championships it can't work any other way. SWIMTA treats an in-app withdrawal as a notice: the coach lets the organiser know in advance, the system flags the rule-based time limit and prepares the form filled in, ready to print. But it only becomes valid once signed by the coach and the head referee/meet director on paper — exactly as the competition rules require. Submitting the notice removes the queue at the desk, not the requirement to sign.
What if there's no signal at the pool?
The app remembers the last downloaded data — the schedule, start lists, results and documents all work offline. As soon as the signal returns, everything updates itself.
Do latecomers who join partway through the event still get the documents?
Yes — unlike sending things round on WhatsApp or email, everyone sees the event's complete noticeboard from the start, whenever they join.
How many participants can SWIMTA handle at once?
The architecture is built for the peaks of major championships — data is served as static files through a standard web server, the same approach that handles high traffic on much bigger websites too. The exact capacity depends on the organiser's server setup; we're happy to check it together before a large event.
Does SWIMTA work for sports other than swimming?
Documents, news, push notifications, contacts and schedule shifts already work for any event today. Live competition data is currently supported from the swimming Lenex format; we're preparing other sports based on organiser interest — get in touch.
